The Wasatch Ride is not for the faint of heart. This is a 42 mile loop ride across the wind swept sage covered hills of Wyoming and Utah. See examples of Wyoming industries from early family ranches to the oil and gas structures of present day. Please be advised that parts of this ride enter potentially hazardous H2S areas.

Beginning at Historic Depot Square, ascend to the top of 11th Street/Harrison Drive. At the top of the hill, Harrison Drive widens to a four-lane road with reduced shoulder widths. As vehicle speeds increase to 30 mph plus, remain alert to potential hazards including vehicles entering and exiting the roadway. From Harrison Drive, turn right at Wasatch Drive and continue past Airport Road. After Airport Road, the roadway reduces from 4 lanes to 2 lanes and parallels Interstate 80. At 7.9 miles and within the State of Utah, a large cluster of snow fences (antelope race bleachers) are located to the left. At 10.7 miles, you will pass a yellow H2S caution marker as well as a large natural gas torch. At 11.6 miles, you will come upon a ranch. Keep the ranch to your right and beware of the dreaded ranch dogs! Yellow Creek Road, a two lane paved highway is located approximately 2 miles from the ranch. After entering the City limits and at the storage buildings located at the intersection of Yellow Creek Road and Arrowhead Drive, turn right and continue along Yellow Creek Road passing under Interstate 80. Yellow Creek Road bends to the right and becomes 6th Street. At the intersection of 6th Street and Main Street, turn right and continue to 10th Street.
